Hindsight 20/20
= to understand a past choice more clearly than at the moment of making the choice
hindsight = understanding of a situation or event only after it has happened
20/20 = perfect vision
When you reflect on a situation, or look back on it, you can see more clearly what you should have said, or done, than you could see when you were actually there in the moment
Ex: “Hindsight 20/20,” I should have said goodbye to her. I didn’t know I would never see her again.
Ex: “Hindsight is 20/ 20,” America probably should have never invaded Iraq. The war only created more enemies.
