Ba Dum Tsss (onomatopeia)
(Many different spellings, but same basic sound)
= drum technique following the conclusion of a cheesy/ corny joke
However, people can make the sound (with their mouth) when they hear a cheesy joke
This is the sound:
*Imagine an unfunny comedian telling cheesy jokes on stage, and after each joke a drum player makes the sound “ba dum tsss.”
Ex: Person #1 Why wouldn’t the shrimp share his treasure?
Person # 2: I don’t know. Why?
Person #1: Because he was shellfish. Get it?
Person #2: “Ba Dum Tsss”
Ex: Person #1: What do you call cheese that isn’t yours?
Person #2: What?
Person #1: Nacho Cheese!
Person #2: “Ba Dum Tsss”
