1) grow into something

=  grow big enough to fit

 

Ex: The bicycle is too big for him now, but he will “grow into it” by next year.

Ex: This sweater is too big for my son, but he will “grow into it.”

2) Grow out of something

= grow too big for something

 

Ex:  I have to buy new shoes because I have “grown out of my current shoes.”

 

Ex.  He has “grown out of believing in Santa Clause,” now that he has turned 35-years old.
