Hippie (or spelled Hippy)
= subculture of people who reject standard conservative values, and believe in peace, extreme liberalism, free expression of love and the expanding of one’s consciousness. They usually have long hair, and wear non mainstream clothes. They became popular in America in the late 1960s.
